PROFILE

Wealthbank was founded on October 10, 1966, as a development bank in Danao City. In 2001, the Metro Gaisano group was given the opportunity to infuse the required capital to address the increasing needs of the bank. WEALTHBANK is now majority owned by the Metro Gaisano group with the Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) and Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP) as its equity partners. At present, it has an authorized capital of P500 million.

In addition to the Danao City Banking center, WEALTHBANK is now strategically located in Tagbilaran City, Bohol, Cagayan de Oro City, Mandaue City and two banking center in Cebu City.

WEALTHBANK aims to provide depositors with various innovative products. Foreign and Domestic remittances via the Western Union Networks is in process.
