What is PhilCom CallKard Plus?
PhilCom CallKard Plus is the first value packed all in one prepaid kard in Mindanao that you can use for Internet browsing and voice calls

How do I use PhilCom CallKard Plus?
For Internet Browsing, all you have to do is to configure your PC and dial 10291. For NDD and local calls, dial 10251. And for IDD calls, just dial 10252.

What is my user name and password?
Username: Serial number@prepaid
Password: PIN Number

What are the Rates?
Php 0.14 per minute.

Can I check the balance of the Card?
You can check your card's remaining balance by dialing 10251 and follow the voice prompt.

 
Configuring Network Settings
1. Go to Start -> Settings -> Control Panel
2. On the Control Panel, click on Network. If your computer is not connected to any local-area network (LAN), you should have the following settings.

Adapter:
Dial-up Adapter (Manufacturer: Microsoft)

Use IPX header Compression = No

Creating A New Dialer Under Windows 95/98
1. On your Desktop, double-click My Computer, then Dial-Up Networking
2. Double-Click on Make New Connection
3. Type in PhilCom for the name of the computer you are dialing to.
4. Select the proper modem, click Next.
5 Enter 10291 for the Phone Number. Disregard area code and country code for local calls. If You are dialing within a PABX system, add 9 or the number that is used to access an outside line to the phone number you wish to dial into.
6. Click on Next, then Finish.

Dial-Up Networking Properties
1. Right-click on the newly created dialer and click Properties.
2. Uncheck the option Use Area Code and Dialing Properties.
3. Click the Server Types tab and uncheck all options except for
Advanced Options: Enable Software Compression
Allowed Network Protocols: TCP/IP
4. Click TCP/IP Setting Button. Check the Followinig:

  • Server Assigned IP Address
  • Server Assigned Name Server Addresses
  • Use IP Header Compression
  • Use Default Gateway on Remote Network.

5. Click Ok.

Creating A New Dialer Under Windows 2000

1. On your Desktop, Double-click My Computer, Control Panel, then Network and Dial-Up Connections
2. Double-click on Make New Connection, click Next.
3. Select the option Dial-Up the Internet, Click Next.
4. Select the option I Want To Setup my Internet Connection Manually, click Next.
5. Select the option I Connect through a phone line and a modem, click Next.
6. Enter 10291 for the Phone Number.
7. Uncheck the option Use Area Code and Dialing Rules, click Next.
8. Enter the Username and Password found on the back of the card, click Next.
9. Type PhilCom for the connection Name, click Next.
10. Select the option No, if the computer asks you: Do you want to set up an Internet Mail account now?, Click Next.
11. Mark the box To Connect to the Internet immediately, Select this box and then click Finish.

Dialing-In To PhilCom
1. Under Dial-up Networking, Double-Click on the PhilCom Dialer.
2. Enter The Username and password found on the back of your PhilCom Callkard Plus Card.
3. Verify the username, password, and the phone number that you will connect to.
4. Click on the Connect button.
