SAN LUIS
BEACH
Location: Brgy. San Luis, Caraga, Davao Oriental. 16 kms. from Caraga
Poblacion towards Baganga.
Attractions: It is a 5 Kilometer black sand unspoiled beach with rows
of century old trees along the coastline that serve as natural sheds.
CARAGA RIVER
Description: A long winding river with lush greeneries, unspoiled waters
and a rare fish that is edible and delicious called damagan, only found
in the river of Caraga.
BURIAS ISLET
Location: Locater on the boundary of Maputi and Puntalinao River, 16 minutes
ride by motorboat.
Attractions: A 1 hectare islet of pure white sand available during low
and minimal tide. Ideal place for swimming and sunbathing. Seashells abound
on this place.
PUTTING
BATO WATERFALLS
Location: Barrio Limot, Tarragona
Attractions: 25-meter wide falls situated in the midst of the forest.
Still under developed but accesible than the abandoned logging road about
15 kms from limot proper.
RUBILINDA
FALLS
Location: Bo. Kampawan, 20 kms from poblacion, 30 minutes ride.
ALIWAGWAG
FALLS
Location: Bo. Aliwagwag, Cateel in the middle of the forest.
Attractions: A towering waterfalls considered by hydraulic engineers as
the highest in the country and regarded as one of the most beautiful falls
in Mindanao. It is a series of 84 cascading falls appearing like a stairway
to heaven with various heights among the steps ranging from 6 to 110 feet.
Overall, Aliwagwag Falls is 1,110 feet of cascading energy and 20 meters
in width. All these in the midst of a virgin forest. One has to cross
13 rapids to get to the river at the foot of the falls.
MAGDAWA
FALLS
Location: Boston, Davao Oriental
Attractions: A cascading falls with a height of 50 meters and a depth
of 5 meters surrounded by woodlands and inaccessible by vehicles.
CAROLINA
LAKE
Location: Panghugan, Salingcamot, Baganga, 15 minutes ride from poblacionby
jeepney or motorcyle.
Attractions:The lake is bubbling and ice cold. It is known to have been
inhabited by giant eels.

SPRINGS
Location: 10 kms from Mati, located in the midst of a forest.
KINABLANGAN
HOT SPRING
Location: Baganga, Davao Oriental
Attractions: Sulfuric water spring believed to have curative powers to
some skin diseases.
MAHIGA COLD
SPRING
Location: Boston, Davao Oriental
Attractions: Fountain-like spring with crystal clear water coming from
underneath.
AROMA BEACH
Location: Lupon, Davao Oriental
Attractions: Its name was derived from the aroma of the trees which abundantly
grow along the shore, providing shelter to picnic goers.
