OBJECTIVES
A. Primary
Objective
To operate as a commercially viable enterprise in the business of
plantation forestry through the establishment of 21,000 hectares
of sustainable forest plantation in Bukidnon that will provide an
alternative wood resource to the rapidly depleting indigenous timber
supply thereby helping remove exploitation pressures from remaining
natural resources.
B. Secondary
Objectives
1. Production
of logs suitable for sawing into construction grades of timber to
meet local demands.
2. Production
of industrial grades of logs of sufficient quality and quantity
to support a minimum economic sizeMedium Density Fiber Board Plant.
3. Production
of fuelwood to meet local demands.
4. Creation
of permanent and seasonal employment opportunities in the Province
of Bukidnon.
5. Protection
of the environment and the downstream agricultural production systems.
6. provision
of extension services for the establishment of smallholder tree
farms in bukidnon of approximately 2,500 hectares.
