A Hot Contemporary Radio Station. To understand this format better, it will be helpful if this will be compared to the familiar Adult Contemporary programming widely used by Philippine Radio stations in the 70's and 80's.

The Adult Contemporary Format can be described as "easy listening" format. Basically mellow, more of old songs with small amount of current songs. Air personality (DJ's) adlibs are laid back to suit the largely adult audience.

The i-FM program format on the other hand is called Hot AC.

Hot AC format contains large amounts of current hits. The current songs are mixed with the old hits. Air personality adlibs and over-all presentation is livelier and dynamic, appealing to the predominantly young audience.

i-FM program format is, in a nutshell, younger and more dynamic than the traditional AC format we are familiar with.
